Wie man vielleicht bereits merken konnte, bin ich großer Fan von Kolbenmotorflugzeugen, insbesondere aus der Zeit nach 1935. Und sowjetische Kampfflugzeuge dieser Art haben eine ganz eigene Faszination. Hier sind drei Videos von solchen Maschinen: I-16 Mosca/Ishak, La-9, MiG-3 und – erst kürzlich restauriert und besonders spektakulär: Die Il-2 (Wohl aber nicht mit Originalmotor).
As one may have realized, I am a big fan of piston engined aircraft, especially those built after 1935. Soviet combat aircraft of this kind have some kind of very special fascination for me.
